We are Five by Seven Entertainment, a consistently-creating, ever-evolving, and infinitely-improving production and consultation firm. We care deeply about everything we create. We take pride in our detailed approach to business and our creative process. From film, television, and music to business start ups, we have contributed to the success of numerous projects both in the entertainment industry and the world of commerce for nearly three decades,. We get the job done!

WHEN AND WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Five by Seven Entertainment was founded in 1999 at the beginning of the technological revolution just as the internet was introduced to the world. As young adults, we cut our teeth and earned our stripes in a small room that had the dimensions of approximately five feet by seven feet. In that room we experimented with making music on new computers and software which was being introduced to the world for the first time, which means, it didn’t work most of the time.

We were all actors then, so naturally we began editing acting reels on beta max which led to writing spec scripts for television. From there we started producing low budget short films as well as music videos for up and coming artists. We shot independent films and commercials without a budget and we never made a dime. We were rewarded through the experience that made us the best. It was the best of times with the worst equipment imaginable. We were the test dummies of what has since been refined, that we all now have access to today on our phones, in our pockets.

Through those tough times we became ‘jacks of all trades’ and students of a progressive world where only the strong survived. Not only did we survive, but we thrived, paved our own paths, and became an anomaly in the industry of entertainment. Most of those we started with are now the heads of the major studios, executive producers, award winning artists, actors, casting directors, directors, entertainers, musicians, producers, writers and superstars. And it all started in a five by seven room.

Essentially, we have been at the helm of the entertainment world for a few decades. We have seen it all, and now we have witnessed the shift that technology has both awarded us and challenged us to shift with again. With entertainment and endless content on the finger tips of the world’s population, we are acutely aware of the oversaturation of the market place and the level of competition to keep the attention of viewers.

WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW

We are now in the season of expansion and embarking on an endeavor that culminates decades of hard work and practical life experiences. Over the years we have crafted and produced massive volumes of original unreleased content, for which we are now building the proper platform to present our programming to the public. Through this venture, it is our expectation and our mission to cultivate new thoughts and inspire a divine transformation in ourselves, our participants and our viewers.
